Originally, Jan Byrkit started in the clothing business with lace t-shirts and then developed that into a whole line of clothing. In 1988 Jan began her line of Handpainted designs on clothing, which she and her husband, Richard Seward took nationwide. Richard and Jan owned and operated a clothing store in Portland, Oregon for 17 years. They discovered the beautiful Columbia Gorge in 1996 and relocated there and today you can find Jan’s designs at select art fairs, Byrkit Production events and online.
